Kohl's Department Store - 10 Acres Commercial Retail - Lawrence, Indiana Site plan design for this department store was a collaborative effort between the owner and three design disciplines. Agency jurisdiction fell within the purview of two governing bodies; the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development and the Town of Lawrence planning department. In addition, Remenschneider Associates was required to balance the site design zoning requirements within the developer's established budget for site improvements. Within the confines of ordinance requirements and budget constraints, RAI envisioned and prepared a final design with a distinctive use of plant material utilizing form and texture for visual interest. The design plan orients customer's within the surrounding development. |
